One central theme. This year's Big Data Expo, themed "Data Drives Industrial Momentum, Intelligence Unlocks the Future," aims to fully present the latest achievements in the integrated innovation of data elements and artificial intelligence technology. It seeks to facilitate the high-efficiency aggregation and realization of value from data resources, delivering a powerful boost to industrial upgrading and high-quality economic development.

Three key features. The Big Data Expo 2025 will champion the philosophy of "simple yet sophisticated, concise yet compelling," placing a stronger emphasis on three key features: internationalization, specialization, and marketization. To underscore its internationalization, the event will establish an innovative International Supply-Demand Matchmaking and Cooperation Exhibition Zone. This will be bolstered by international supply-demand matchmaking activities and global exchange activities, aiming to provide digital solutions and share valuable experiences with various countries, thereby jointly fostering the coordinated development of the global digital economy. The focus on specialization will see the thread of "reform in market-based allocation of data elements" running throughout the entire event. Specialized exhibition zones dedicated to data infrastructure, data trading, and artificial intelligence will be featured. Exchange activities, such as the "National Integrated Data Market," are planned, alongside the release of new policies, typical cases, and pilot demonstrations. Discussions will aim to identify and resolve industry bottlenecks and pain points, tackling challenges in the market-driven and value-realizing development of data elements. For marketization, the Expo will actively invite diverse market entities to debut their innovations through first releases, first exhibitions, and first shows. Activities like "Data Industry Development Exchange Activities" and "Private Enterprise Symposiums on Digital Economy" will be organized to promote industry collaboration, ecosystem building, and the commercialization and application of achievements.

Five categories of activities. This year's Big Data Expo is set to feature five categories of activities: exhibitions, an opening ceremony, industry exchange activities, industry competitions, and a series of special activities. For exhibitions, six major themed pavilions will be set, including Pioneering Data & Intelligence, Data & Intelligence Infrastructure, Data & Intelligence Services, Data & Intelligence Applications, Data & Intelligence Innovation, and Data & Intelligence Experience. These halls will showcase a wide array of new technologies, products, solutions, and applications within the digital economy sector. As for the opening ceremony, international government officials, renowned experts & scholars, and leading entrepreneurs from both home and abroad will be invited to attend, providing insights into the latest industry policies and conducting exchanges. Over 20 industry exchange activities are scheduled, revolving around five key sections: Data Elements, Data Industry, Digital Economy, Data Infrastructure, and International Cooperation. Industry competitions, developed in collaboration with well-known Chinese enterprises and professional competition agencies, will set challenges on key technological fronts such as the deep integration of the real economy and digital economy, artificial intelligence, and homegrown software. This will include multiple contests tailored for enterprises and the broader industry. Complementing the main events are a series of special activities designed to foster connections, such as dedicated supply-demand matchmaking sessions, business negotiations, and exclusive corporate showcases.

Since its inception in 2015, the Big Data Expo has consistently upheld its guiding principles of "global vision, national strategy, industry perspective, and corporate standpoint." Through a decade of exploration and refinement, the Expo has continuously deepened its content, enriched its offerings, and innovated its forms. It has successfully evolved into an international platform for China's data sector, leading innovation trends, showcasing industry achievements, and promoting open cooperation. Currently, Guizhou Province is diligently advancing preparations for the 2025 edition, operating under a "tripartite coordination mechanism involving central ministries, provincial and municipal governments." Efforts are focused on showcasing a range of cutting-edge products, organizing various exchange activities, upgrading smart services, and facilitating project collaborations, all aimed at making the Big Data Expo even more engaging, practical, and compelling.
