Technology: Empowering Economy, Enriching Life” officially kicked off in Chongqing. A distinct collection of leading scientist, industry and business leaders, and important political figures from all over the world gathered at the event for a great meeting of minds, sharing development achievements and seeking development opportunities. Industry giants, including Alibaba, Tencent, ZTE, and UNIS, came to present their visual solutions and show the progress in industrial ecosystem.

As the China’s first national big data comprehensive experimental zone and the host of the world’s first big data exhibition, Guizhou was invited to SCE 2019 and made its debut at the S5 (Smart City) Pavilion.

On the opening day, the S5 Pavilion were crowded with interested audiences. Standing in front of the exhibition area was the dazzling and flourishing “Smart Tree”, symbolizing the development of big data from zero to prosperity in Guizhou. Inside the zone, the Data Scheduling Center for Provincial Government Affairs named“Guizhou-Cloud Big Data” was constantly flashing, presenting the exploration of the integrated government data center system of the province.

This Guizhou Pavilion, occupying about 500 square meters is divided into seven sections, namely the “Guizhou-Cloud Big Data” Data Scheduling Center for Provincial Government Affairs, Digital Government Affairs, Digital Life, Industrial Digitalization, Digital Industrialization, Guiyang Big Data Expo and FAST Experience Zone.

Through the combination of sound, light, pictures, texts and videos, the exhibition hall of Guizhou highlights the innovative industrial ecology with big data as the leading, applicable and supporting pillar, and comprehensively demonstrates the remarkable cases and achievements of new smart cities in Guizhou.

The City of Big Data at SCE 2019

The Big Data Expo section representing Guiyang, the city of big data, is of course the most prominent highlight in the hall. The 100-square-meter area showcases Guiyang Big Data Expo, Big Data Avenue, Smart Tree, Yidu Could, and 5G Application and Innovation Joint Laboratory.

1. Big Data Expo

The Big Data Expo section shows that the history and achievements of the Expo as it gradually grew into the trend indicator and the industry’s most international and authoritative platform in the global industry. In addition, references like Guiyang Big-data Development Overview and Guiyang Big-data Industry Policy Excerpts were given to the visitors to provide further information. It is reported that the exhibitor recruitment and promotion of the 2020 Big Data Expo has been also carried out in an orderly manner during this exhibition, making the best preparation for a new big data feast.

2. Big Data Avenue

The Big Data Avenue is the key business card for the Expo. It is the core of the “China Big Data Valley”, with high industry concentration, deep integration with the real economy, enhanced efforts for innovation, precise policies and management, and intelligent and efficient service. The Avenue is adjacent to Guizhou-Zunyi Expressway and Guiyang North Station in the east, Taijin Line in the south, Kewen Road, Shibiao Road and Xiaowan River in the west, and Shawenyuan in the High-tech Zone and the Guiyang • Huaqiang “Boonie Bears” Town in the north. The Avenue is located along the sides of Changling South Road - Changling North Road – Baijin Avenue, and runs through the core areas of Yunyan District, High-tech Zone, Guanshan Lake Zone and Baiyun District. The total planned length is about 25 kilometers and the total area is about 100 square kilometers.

3. Smart Tree

The amazing “Smart Tree” contains a display of the Big Data Expo’s history from 2015 to 2019, a real sand table depicting the prototype of the Avenue, and a video about the past and present of the event, showing a completely different image of Guizhou.

4. Big Data Enterprises

At the scene, a collection of big data leaders and products of Guiyang made their appearance, including Guiyang Esgyn Corporation, a big data startup company; the self-developed “Yidu Cloud Medical Data Smart Platform”; “Identity Chain”, a Guiyang innovation to facilitate the national trustable identity strategy; 5G Application and Innovation Joint Laboratory that accelerates the promotion of 5G application;, and Jam Technology, a company that use core business AR/VR/MR (mixed reality) to provide empowerment for cultural tourism, children’s products, government affairs exhibition halls, etc.
